Frequently Asked Questions

The providers at Priority Family & Urgent Care see all ages. There is no minimum age requirement for our office.

Priority Care accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and most major commercial insurances. Contact our office at 662-256-3120 to verify if we are in-network with your insurance.

How to determine if your need requires an Emergency Room (ER) visit or can be seen by an Urgent Care. Ask yourself, is it an emergency that could be life-threatening? If “yes” or even the slightest chance of yes, please call 911 or head to the nearest ER right away. If you answered “no”, an Urgent Care office may be the better option.

If you are still unsure, contact our office at 662-256-3120.

Priority Care providers can suture or staple minor wounds requiring this procedure. Our providers will not suture wounds on a patient’s face but can refer the patient.

Our office is unable to cast broken bones. If there is a question that a patient has a broken bone, our providers will have our staff X-Ray the area. If the X-Ray shows a fractured bone, our providers will refer this patient to see if it requires a cast and have the cast placed.

To be able to provide care for our patients but allow our staff to enjoy the holidays with their families, our office has shortened hours on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Our office is closed on New Year’s Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
